Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää työsuojelu käsikirja suomalaiselle laivanvarustamolle nimeltään Langh Ship. Käsikirjan pohjana käytettiin kansainvälistä työsuojelu standardia ISO 45001:2018.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa käyn läpi sekä vertailen suomalaista työsuojelu lainsäädäntöä ja kansainvälistä ISO 45001:2018 työsuojelu standardia. Teoriaosuuteen sisältyy myös yleisesti työsuojeluun liittyviä elementtejä sekä merenkululle oleellisten säädösten ja järjestöjen analysointia.
Tekstissä kuvailen työtäni ja sen eri vaiheita työsuojelu käsikirjan luomisesta. Kuvailen, muun muassa, käsikirjassa käsiteltyjä aiheita, matkalla kohdattuja haasteita sekä oleellisen sisällön valitsemista. Lopussa kuvailen työn valmista lopputulosta.
Lopullinen työsuojelu käsikirja ei ole liitteenä tässä opinnäytetyössä, sillä se on tehty vain yritykselle Langh Ship. The objective of this thesis was to create an occupational health and safety manual for a Finnish shipping company, Langh Ship. The manual was drawn up following the internationally recognized occupational health and safety standard ISO 45001:2018. The manual was done so that it would represent the company’s whole fleet.
The theory part of this thesis includes analysis and comparison of the Finnish occupational health and safety standards and the ISO 45001:2018. It also studies the elements of occupational health and safety standards in general as well as in the maritime field.
In this thesis, I described my work and different stages as I was writing the occupational health and safety manual. This includes, among others, topics presented in the manual, practical writing, challenges I faced, and figuring out the structure of the manual. In the results, the practical result of the work is described.
The manual itself will not be as an appendix in the public version of this thesis, as it was developed only for the use of Langh Ship.
