Fly! : nojapyörä työmatkalle

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni aiheena on kolmirenkainen kokoontaitettava nojapyörä työmatkoille. Aihevalintaan vaikutti mielenkiintoni polkupyöriä ja suuria nopeuksia kohtaan. Työssä käsitellään ensin työmatkaa ja nojapyöriä. Sen jälkeen käydään läpi tavoitteet. Työ etenee kolmen prototyypin kautta valmiiseen nojapyörään. Prosessissa käyn läpi kolmirenkaisen nojapyörän teknisiä vaatimuksia, proton testausta ja muodonantoa. Kerron myös ideoita siitä, miten tästä voisi jatkaa. Viimeisenä on tuotteen esittely ja arviointi.

The subject of my thesis is a folding recumbent trike for commuting. I chose this subject because I’m interested in bicycles and high speeds. First I tell about commuting and recumbents. Then I set the goals. My thesis goes through three prototypes to a finished tricycle. During the process I tell about the technical demands of a recumbent trike, about testing the prototypes and about how I gave the form for the bike. I also have some ideas, how to continue from here on. Last, I present the finished product and give an evaluation.
