Rekkaparkki Kehä V:lle

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on selvittää rekkaparkin sijoitusmahdollisuuksia Kehä V:lle. Kehä V kulkee Hangosta Mäntsälään valtatie 25:nä ja Mäntsälästä Porvooseen kantatie 55:nä. Työ on tehty toimeksiantona EKES-Yrityspalvelulle.

Työssä määritellään rekkaparkin tarkoitus ja Kehä V:n toimintaa sekä käsitellään Kehä V:n varrella olevien Uudenmaan kuntien vaikutusta rekkaparkin sijaintiin. Tutkimuksessa käytetään apuna Suomen ja Euroopan rekkaparkkimalleja.

Työssä käsitellään myös Kehä V:n lähialueiden raskasta liikennettä, satamatoimintaa ja niiden aiheuttamia muutoksia liikennevirtoihin. Teoreettisena viitekehyksenä käytetään kirjallisuutta ja aikaisempia tutkimuksia.

Tutkimus on tyypiltään kvalitatiivinen tutkimus ja se toteutettiin henkilöhaastatteluilla.

Tutkimuksen tulokset antavat kokonaisvaltaisen kuvan rekkaparkista ja sen käyttötarkoituksesta ja tarpeellisuudesta. Tutkimus luo käsityksen Kehä V:n vaikutusalueesta ja tutkimuksessa saatiin mahdollisia sijaintipaikkoja rekkaparkille.

Parking Place for Trucks for Ring Road V

The objective of this Bachelor´s thesis is to examine what the position is for a parking place for trucks. The position of the parking place for trucks should be on the Ring Road V. Ring Road V is a curved road which runs from Hanko to Porvoo. The part of the Road from Hanko to Mäntsälä is called Highway 25 and the part of the road from Mäntsälä to Porvoo is called main road 55. This thesis was made as an assignment for EKES Yrityspalvelut.

This thesis defines the concept of the parking place for trucks and the concept of Ring Road V. It also clarifies the effect of the municipalities on the Ring Road V and on the parking place for trucks. Comparisons were made between parking places in Finland, Germany and the USA.

This study examines the heavy traffic and the port operations and the changes caused by them in the traffic flows. Previous studies and literature were used as the frame of reference in this research.

This study is a qualitative research and it was carried out by making four interviews.

The results of the study present the comprehensive picture, the purpose of use and the necessity of the parking place for trucks. The research creates a view over the target area of the Ring Road V and the research presents possible locations for the Parking places for trucks.
