Yhteistyön lisääminen imetystukea antavien sektoreiden välillä – raportoivan artikkelin välityksellä

Abstract

Kehittämistehtävän tarve tuli esille toimeksiantajan tilaaman opinnäytetyön pohjalta. Opinnäytetyö ”Kajaanin Imetystukiryhmä äitien tukena” selvitti, miksi Kajaanissa tarvitaan imetystukiryhmää ja millainen merkitys vertaistuella on äideille. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli saada tietoa imetystukiryhmän toiminnan kehittämiseen ja markkinoinnin oikeanlaiseen kohdentamiseen. Kehittämisideana opinnäytetyön pohjalta nousi yhteistyön lisääntyminen terveydenhuoltohenkilöstön ja imetystukiryhmän välillä. Samaan aikaan opinnäytetyöstämme pyydettiin artikkelia Imetysuutisia-lehteen. Näiden toiveiden pohjalta päätimme kirjoittaa opinnäytetyöstämme raportoivan artikkelin, jonka lähetämme sekä lehden toimitukselle että Kajaanin seudun äitiys- ja lastenneuvoloiden terveydenhoitajille sekä Kainuun keskussairaalan synnyttäneiden osaston kätilöille. Kehittämistehtävän tarkoituksena on lisätä tietoa Kajaanin alueen äitiys- ja lastenneuvolan terveydenhoitajille ja Kainuun keskussairaalan synnyttäneiden osaston henkilökunnan kätilöille Kajaanin Imetystukiryhmän toiminnasta ja sen tarpeellisuudesta. Tavoitteena on lisätä imetyksen tukemiseen liittyvää yhteistyötä perusterveydenhuollon, erikoissairaanhoidon ja kolmannen sektorin välillä. Kehittämistehtävän tutkimustehtäviä ovat 1. Raportoivan artikkelin kirjoittaminen Kajaanin seudun äitiys- ja lastenneuvoloiden terveydenhoitajille sekä Kainuun keskussairaalan synnyttäneiden osaston kätilöille ja Imetysuutisia- lehdelle 2. Eri sektoreiden antaman imetystuen ja -ohjauksen selvittäminen.

The need for the developing task came forth based on the thesis ordered by the commisioned. Thesis “Kajaani´s breastfeeding supporting group with mothers” was to analyse why breastfeeding support group are needed in Kajaani and what peer support means for mothers. The thesis` objective was to get information that Kajaanin Imetystukiryhmä can use for developing its activities and marketing. Based on the thesis the increase in the cooperation rose between personnel in health care services and the Kajaanin Imetystukiryhmä as a development idea. At the same time we were asked to write an article for Imetysuutisia- magazine. We decided to write based on these wishes the article which reports our thesis and which we send that to the magazine and to the Kajaani’s area public health nurses of maternity clinics and child health centres, and also to the midwives of the maternity ward at the central hospital of Kainuu. The purpose of the developing task is to add information to the public health nurses of the maternity clinic and child health centre of the area of Kajaani and to the midwives of the staff of the maternity ward at the central hospital of Kainuu about the Kajaanin Imetystukiryhmä´s activities and about its necessity. The objective is to increase between primary health care, special health care and the third sector the co-operation which is related to the supporting the breast feeding. The research tasks of the developing task are 1. Writing reporting article to the public health nurses of maternity clinics and child health centres of Kajaani’s area and to midwives of the maternity ward of the central hospital of Kainuu and Imetysuutinen-magazine. 2. Clarifying of the breast feeding support and breast feeding councelling given by the different sectors.
