Tiivistelmä
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön aiheena oli huoltajien osallisuuden edistäminen. Varhaiskasvatuslain sekä varhaiskasvatussuunnitelman perusteiden mukaan huoltajilla pitää olla mahdollisuus osallistua varhaiskasvatuksen suunnitteluun, toteuttamiseen ja arviointiin. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli edistää huoltajien osallisuutta ja osallistumista kokoamalla erilaisia keinoja ja menetelmiä varhaiskasvattajien käyttöön.
Kehittämistyön prosessia ohjaavana menetelmänä käytimme lineaarista mallia. Tiedontuotannon ja osallistamisen menetelminä olivat haastattelut varhaiskasvatuksen henkilökunnalle sekä ideapilvi. Haastatteluiden ja ideapilven pohjalta kokosimme kesäkuussa 2019 menetelmäkansion, johon tuli varhaiskasvatuksessa jo olevia menetelmiä sekä uusia menetelmiä. Arviointi toteutettiin kyselynä varhaiskasvattajille, kun he olivat tutustuneet kansioon. Opinnäytetyön prosessin ajan pidimme päiväkirjaa, jota hyödynsimme reflektoinnin tukena prosessin ajan.
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi menetelmäkansio huoltajien osallisuuden edistämiseksi. Arvioinnin perusteella menetelmäkansio on selkeä, toimintaideat tulee hyvin esille ja kansio tuo uusia ideoita huoltajien kanssa tehtävään yhteistyöhön. The theme of this functional thesis was advance guardians´ participation. According to the
Early Childhood Education law and the principles of the Early Childhood Education Plan,
guardians´ must have the opportunity to participate in the planning and development of early
childhood education. The purpose of this thesis was to advance the involvement and participation
of guardians´ by bringing together different measures and methods for early childhood
educators.
A linear model was used as a paradigm for this development process. Methods included
interviews with the staff of early childhood education and a cloud of ideas to engage staff to
the production of the method folder. Based on interviews and a cloud of ideas, we compiled
a method folder in June 2019 including existing methods and new methods for early childhood
education. The evaluation for the early childhood educators was conducted by a questionnaire
after they had familiarized themselves with the folder. During the thesis process,
we also kept a thesis-diary which we used to support reflection throughout the process.
As a result of the functional thesis, a methodology folder was created to advance the participation
of guardians´. Based on the evaluation the method folder is clear and operational
ideas are presented well, also the folder brings new ideas for co-operation with the guardians
´.
