Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten Lean Startup -menetelmiä voitaisiin hyödyntää alustayritystä perustaessa. Tavoitteena oli ymmärtää liikeidean menestysmahdollisuudet ja löytää menetelmiä, joilla niitä voisi parantaa.
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön teoreettisessa osuudessa perehdyttiin alustatalouteen, joka vaikuttaa yritysidean toimintaympäristöön. Alustatalouteen perehtymällä luotiin käsitys, millaisessa toimintaympäristössä liikeidea toimii. Näiden tietojen perusteella siirryttiin tutkimaan Lean Startup -menetelmiä, ja kuinka niitä voisi hyödyntää liiketoiminnan aloittamisessa.
Produktisosassa hyödynnettiin alustatalouden ja Lean Startup-menetelmien tutkimisessa hankittua tietoa Lean Canvaksen luomiseen. Lean Canvaksen tavoitteena oli luoda kokonaisvaltainen kuva liikeideasta. Tuotos osa koostuu Lean Canvaksesta, ja sen sisällön kuvauksesta kirjallisesti. The purpose of this thesis was to find out how one could use Lean Startup -methods when starting a platform business. The goal was to understand the success chances of the business idea and find methods of improving them.
The theoretical part of the practice-based research begun by gaining an understanding of platform economy which affects all business. By researching platform economy, a deeper understanding of the operating environment was gained. Based on the research we transitioned to researching Lean Startup -methods and how they could be used to start the business.
In the product part of the thesis the knowledge gained from researching platform economy and the Lean Startup -methods was utilized to create a Lean Canvas. The goal of the Lean canvas was to gain a thorough image the business idea. The product part consists of the Lean Canvas and explaining the contents in text.
