Tiivistelmä
Nowadays, organizational culture is considered as one of the main drivers for the success of a business. Company leaders and researchers are putting their attention to understand organizational culture and how to create one that suitable and sustainable for their organization. Organizational culture affects many aspects of a business, however, in this thesis, the author look closely on how organizational culture can affect the employees’ motivation.

The thesis takes the deductive approach and use the qualitative method as the research methodology. The primary data is collected from interview sessions with the employees and the CEO of the case company. The secondary data is collected from various written sources, such as books, articles, electrical sources. This data is collected in order to clarify the relationship between organizational culture and employees’ motivation so that readers can have better understanding about the topic.

After discussing the primary and secondary data, the findings of the research showed that culture can have a positive effect on employees’ motivation. A culture that can help its people to feel safe and help them to develop themselves is successful culture. That is true for the case of the case company, it created an environment for its people to thrive and the people is very well motivated.
