Model based design of ground based structures in the case of hospital building

Tiivistelmä
The thesis includes a variable calculation of the foundation of a new projected extension to the medical building and modeling in the software complexes of the building and the protective structures of the foundation. In the course of the work, the initial data on the object under study were first analyzed. Calculations were made for the design of the foundation, which include:
1. determination of the type of foundation, in our case, the foundation plate was obtained;
2. determination of the draft of the building with a given foundation and the zone of influence on the surrounding buildings;
3. the design of excavation works with the use of the necessary protective measures, which is why the Larsen L5 protective sheet pile wall was used in the development of the pit soil.
The structure of this explanatory note is presented in 5 sections:
In the first section, the General characteristics of the object and the construction site were considered, the main architectural and construction and spatial planning solutions of the object, its functional zoning, as well as technical and economic indicators were presented.
In the second section of the explanatory note – a special section of the thesis – an assessment of the impact of the new building on the surrounding development and foundation is made.
The third, fourth and fifth sections are variants of modeling and calculation using software systems (Plaxis, Revit, Tekla). This section describes the modeling process when working inside the program, taking into account the specifics of using each separately.
The result of the thesis is applied design of the foundation of the building and modeling of the results of calculations for use in direct construction.
