In March 2020, a pandemic of coronavirus went globally. The tourism industry of Nepal was severely affected because of the shutdown of the companies. As a result, it was hard to survive for travel and tourism companies like Caravana Himalaya.
The main objective of this research is to help with Caravana Himalaya from the effect of covid-19 by creating a digital marketing strategy so that the company can run back to the business.
The thesis considers both theoretical and empirical approaches to the topic. The theoretical part explains digital marketing in general, tourism marketing in Nepal. The practical part of this thesis is about qualitative analysis by conducting an interview. It also includes the answer to the main research question through the study of qualitative data.
Caravana Himalaya can implement this research as a part of digital marketing to retrieve it from covid-19. Moreover, the research also helps to develop an effective marketing strategy for tourism companies in the future study.
