This thesis aims to examine the sourcing method of the case company SAS MNYTrading, particularly its provider choice. SAS MNYTrading Agency was established in 2019 as Various specialized, scientific, and technical activities in France.
This thesis will go through the selection process of PPE suppliers, needs analysis, market evaluation for suppliers, collecting provider information, developing a procurement/outsourcing strategy, implementing a plan for the transition or improvement of the contractual supply chain, and then choosing a new supplier.
The thesis' theory section begins with a broad context and progressively narrows as it devel-ops. Starting with the purchasing aspect, the theory progresses onto the sourcing process and then the supplier's assessment. The ideas were obtained from several academic books, journals, and websites.
This paper provides the audience with critical strategic sourcing issues in any company's operations team. While this focuses on Case MNYTrading's problems, the theory can be ap-plied to any entity. The thesis will go over the sourcing concept and various research models to gather worthful data to find solutions while keeping costs under control.
The interviews took place in 2021, using a qualitative research method. The interview was semi-structured, with several open-ended questions and a survey form.
The findings of this thesis reveal the criteria used to evaluate potential suppliers and the various methods used to obtain them, and the analysis of these suppliers. The commissioning company, the writer, and suppliers involved in the supplier selection process will benefit from this thesis.
