The objective of this thesis was to create a marketing action plan for a case company x. The aim was to develop a simple yet effective plan which suited for the needs and resources of the client. The case company x operates in the communication field as a starting consulting business. The need for the thesis project was requested by the client.
An interview was carried out with the client to gain a knowledge base on the current situation. Based on the interview methods of SWOT, SMART and Customer Profile analysis were executed. The results provided information on what the marketing action plan was based upon, and the key finding was to increase the brand awareness.
The marketing action plan consisted of three phases which focused mainly on content marketing and search engine optimization. Future suggestions and tools were provided for the client to ensure the continuation of a well-structured marketing operations. The result of the thesis project was a practical marketing action plan for the case company x.
