Tiivistelmä
The study investigated the perceptions, expectations and preferences of students at LUT University and LAB University of Applied Sciences regarding automats, a type of contactless fast-food restaurant. The purpose of the thesis work was to determine whether there was demand for such restaurant among these students and evaluate the relevance of contactless dining in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project studied different literature, collected data through a survey and analyzed the data. The study found that there was demand for automats among the students at mentioned institutes. The study also concluded that the students deemed contactless dining more important during the COVID-19 outbreak than after the pandemic.
