Tiivistelmä
Even though the COVID- 19 pandemic state has been ongoing for almost two years, it is still a relatively new and unknown topic, and its effects on managerial level jobs, especially in the sales division, to this day. Therefore, it is highly relevant to examine how exactly the managerial positions and their job descriptions have changed during the pandemic.
The thesis aims to discover these changes, and what would have been the best way to adapt to the changing situation, and if there is something positive that has been learned in the pandemic state.
Empirical research is conducted using the qualitative research method in questionnaire form. The questionnaire was sent to different managers in the sales field, including only open questions to leave room for the interviewees’ thoughts and opinions. This is how the primary data was collected. The secondary data is from reliable sources such as websites, articles and printed sources.
The key findings and conclusions can be seen as a guide for the future and what methods learned during the pandemic could be used in the future as well. Recommendations for managers are given.
