ITSETUNNON VAHVISTAMINEN OSANA OMAKIELISTEN KOTOVALMENTAJIEN AMMATILLISUUTTA : Työkalupakki kotovalmentajien kouluttamiseen

Abstract

Tämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli suunnitella ja toteuttaa omakielisten koto-valmentajien ammatillinen koulutus. Koulutus toteutettiin käyttäen toiminnallisia menetelmiä. Koulutuksessa kokoonnuttiin yhteensä kuusi kertaa noin neljän tunnin ajan. Opinnäytetyön tuotoksena syntyi työkalupakki, johon koottiin koulutuksen pohjalta harjoitukset sekä teoriaa toiminnallisista menetelmistä. Tarkoituksena oli kokeilla, soveltuvatko toiminnalliset menetelmät osaksi omakielisten kotovalmentajien ammatillista koulutusta.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toimeksiantona Pohjois-Karjalan Sosiaaliturvayhdistys ry:n hallinnoimalle Omakielisten kotovalmentajien kokeiluhankkeelle. Tuotos koottiin koulutuksen pohjalta ja siihen otettiin mukaan koulutuksessa toimiviksi todetut harjoitteet ja elementit. Tuotos jää hank-keen käyttöön työkalupakkina seuraavia koulutuksia varten.

Koulutuksen järjestämisen ja työkalupakin laatimisen pohjalta saadun palautteen perusteella voidaan todeta, että toiminnalliset menetelmät soveltuvat työvälineeksi omakielisten kotovalmentajien ammatilliseen koulutukseen. Palautteen mukaan koulutus kehitti kotovalmentajien itsetuntemusta, voimavarojen sekä vahvuuksien tunnistamista ja sitä kautta heidän ammatillisuuttaan.

The goal of this practice-based thesis was to plan a professional education for the mentors by mother tongue and put it in practice. Education was carried out by using functional methods. Six meetings were held during this training and the meetings last about four hours per time. The product of this thesis was The Tool Kit, which was collected based on the exercises used in the education and the theory of functional methods. The purpose was to find out how functional methods can be adapted as a part of the professional education for the mentors by mother tongue.

The thesis was carried out as a commission by the Mentors by Mother Tongue Pilot Project which is managed by the registered association North Karelia Social Security Association. The Tool Kit was made based on the education and included were the elements and exercises which were noted as workable. The Tool Kit will remain to be used in the project as a guide for the following educations.

Based on the feedback for coordinating the education and compiling The Tool Kit can be discovered that the functional methods are adapted as a working method to the professional education of the mentors by mother tongue. Based on the feedback the education developed self-knowledge and identifying resources and strengths of the mentors and there by their professionalism.
