Tiivistelmä
The case company is Optimacros. This is a fast-growing startup. The company's employees are its main resource. The efficiency of employees has a direct impact on the success of the company. Since the company sets itself the goal of expansion, the development of human resource management will allow the company to achieve its goal. Since the number of employees is growing rapidly already, Optimacros needs well-functioning human resource management now.

The purpose of the thesis is to analyze the current satisfaction and motivation level of employees, learn the theory and apply the findings to compose new activities for the human resource department of the case company.

The thesis applies a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods and collects data through a questionnaire. The analysis of the collected information is done with the help of the case company software. Another source of information is the study and analysis of literature, articles, and Internet sources. Only the most relevant information for the case is included in the thesis. The analysis of the information and conclusions of this paper are directed to a remote working company.

Analysis of the results of the questionnaire determines the challenges for the human resource of the case company. The conclusion of this thesis includes practical advice for the case company. The prerequisites and basis for the development of human resource management are described in the conclusion. The company received data on the current level of motivation of employees and received information on the direction in which the human resource department should develop its activities for the efficient operation of the company and successful expansion.
