Sairaanhoitajan perehdytyksen lokikirjan arviointi ja kehittämistarpeet

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi Keski-Uudenmaan sotekuntayhtymä, Keusote. Keusoten terveysasemilla oli keväällä 2021 otettu käyttöön uusi sairaanhoitajan perehdytyksen lokikirja. Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli sairaanhoitajan perehdytyksen lokikirjan arviointi ja kehittämistarpeet. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli arvioida sairaanhoitajan perehdytyksen lokikirjan käyttöä ja sen kehittämistarpeita sekä luoda kehittämisehdotuksia. Tavoitteena oli tunnistaa lokikirjan heikkoudet ja kehittämistarpeet. Keskeiset käsitteet olivat sairaanhoitajan perehdytys, yhteisöohjautuvuus ja moniammatillinen tiimityö.

Tutkimuskysymyksinä olivat 1. Miten lokikirjaa hyödyntävä perehdytys toteutuu? 2. Miten käyttöönotettua sairaanhoitajan perehdytyksen lokikirjaa käytetään? 3. Miten käyttöönotettua sairaanhoitajan lokikirjaa tulisi kehittää?

Tutkimus toteutettiin kyselytutkimuksena ja tutkimustulokset analysoitiin aineistolähtöisen sisällönanalyysin keinoin. Tuloksista ilmeni, että perehdytyksen lokikirja oli käytössä enemmistöllä sairaanhoitajista, mutta lokikirjan systemaattinen läpikäynti oli puutteellista. Lokikirja arviotiin hyödylliseksi perehdytyksessä ja varsinaisia lokikirjan kehittämisehdotuksia nousi esiin hyvin vähän. Perehdytykseen kaivattiin lisää tukea ja palautetta. Lisäksi perehdytyksen loppukeskustelu sekä lokikirjan allekirjoitus ja dokumentaatio ei toteutunut isolla osalla vastaajista.

Jatkokehittämisehdotuksina sairaanhoitajan perehdytykseen Keusoten vastaanottotoiminnassa annettiin tuen ja palautteen annon kehittäminen perehdytysprosessin aikana. Lokikirjan käyttöä tulisi myös selkeyttää, jotta perehdytys tapahtuisi systemaattisesti ja perehdytysprosessi saatettaisiin kokonaisuudessaan loppuun.

This thesis was commissioned by Keski-Uudenmaan sotekuntayhtymä, Keusote (Central Uusimaa Joint Municipal Authority for Social and Health Services). A new nurse orientation logbook was introduced at Keusote health centers in the spring of 2021. The topic of this thesis was the evaluation and development needs of the nurse 's orientation logbook. The purpose of the thesis was to evaluate the use of the nurse 's orientation logbook and its needs for development, and to create development proposals. The aim was to identify the weaknesses and development needs of the logbook. The keywords were nurse orientation, community orientation, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

The research questions were 1. How is the orientation utilizing the implemented logbook? 2. How is the implemented nurse orientation logbook used? 3. How should the implemented nurse logbook be developed?

The research was carried out as a questionnaire survey and the research results were analyzed by means of data-driven content analysis. The results revealed that the orientation logbook was used by the majority of nurses, but there was a lack of systematic use of the logbook. The logbook was considered useful and only a few suggestions for development emerged. More support and feedback were needed for the orientation. In addition, the final discussion of the orientation as well as the signing and documentation of the logbook did not take place for a large part of the respondents.

Suggestions for further development of the nurse's orientation in Keusote's reception activities included the development of support and feedback during the orientation process. The use of the logbook should be clarified so that the orientation takes place systematically and the orientation process is concluded in its entirety.
