Tiivistelmä
Etätyön tekeminen ja sen johtaminen ovat tärkeitä aihealueita nykyajan työelämässä monilla eri aloilla ja eri organisaatioissa. Työn tekemisen vaatimukset muuttuvat kovalla vauhdilla ja työn tekemisen on oltava tuloksellista sekä mielekästä niin työntekijälle kuin esihenkilöstöllekin. Etätyötä johdettaessa ja sitä tehdessä on oltava valmis mukautumaan muuttuviin tilanteisiin nähden sekä oltava valmiina omaksumaan uusia toimintatapoja ja toimintamalleja.
Tämä opinnäytetyö tehtiin toimeksiantona Kelan eteläiselle eläkeryhmälle. Työn tarkoituksena oli etätyön toimivuuden parantaminen, sekä yhteishengen parantaminen etätyötä sekä läsnätyötä tehdessä. Työn tavoitteena oli selvittää kyselytutkimuksen keinoin minkälaiseksi Kelan eteläisen eläkeryhmän työntekijät kokevat etätyön nykymuodossaan.
Työn tietoperustassa käytiin läpi johtajuutta sekä etätyön monia eri muotoja. Opinnäytetyön tutkimuksellinen osuus toteutettiin tapaustutkimuksena. Tutkimusmenetelmänä käytettiin eteläisen eläkeryhmän henkilöstölle suunnattua kyselyä. Kysely toteutettiin Questback-kyselytyökalulla keväällä 2022. Tutkimustulosten perusteella käytiin keväällä 2022 eteläisen eläketiimi 5 tiimipalaverissa läpi keskustellen etätyön sujumista ja sitä, miten jatkossa voidaan eläketiimien sekä eläkeryhmän työssä ottaa huomioon toiveita toimivasta etätyöstä ja hioa toimivammaksi jo käytössä olevia toimintamalleja.
Opinnäytetyön ja tutkimuksen lopputuloksena saatiin aikaan katsaus eläkeryhmän etätyön nykytilanteesta ja sen toimivuudesta. Digitaalisten työvälineiden käyttö sekä niiden käyttämisen osaamisen hallinta korostuivat työn tutkimustuloksissa. Etätyön tekemisen koetaan olevan pääosin mielekästä ja sen tekemistä halutaan jatkaa pääosin myös tulevaisuudessa. Remote working and its management are main topics of work in many different organizations. The requirements for doing the work are changing at an accelerating pace, and working has to be productive and meaningful for all the employees in the company. Managing work in its various forms, everyone has to be able to adapt to changing situations and ready to adopt new ways of working and operating models.
This thesis was made for the Social Institution of Finland and particularly for the Southern pension group. The aim of this thesis was to improve the remote working in particular and the thesis focused on managing remote work by digital solutions. The employees of the pension group were able to answer a questionnaire that gave information about the current state of the remote work in the Social Insurance Institution of Finland. The questionnaire was possible to be answer by the Questback enguirytool in April 2022.
The thesis's proposals were meant to create development ideas for employees of the pension groups staff with different stages of their careers, which can be used in their own work field. The thesis made available and possible issues explored from the perspective that employees can receive support and confirmation for their work even if their own supervisor is working elsewhere.
Results of the enquiry were in topic of the discussion in one of the Southern pension teams in team meeting at April 2020. All the members of the team were able to hear about the results and they were able to discuss about the themes in the remote working. In overall working remotely is being considered as a good way to work and it is hoped to be continued also after the Covid pandemic is retreated.
