Professional development in the field of security

Abstract

The objective of this thesis was to develop my knowledge and skills as a professional in the field of security, while also providing the company a chance to develop the access control measures within the premises and present deep reports of my daily work. The thesis is written in the form of a diary, and it covers ten reporting weeks. Each week has been planned beforehand, with the addition of weekly themes related to work tasks and assignments. The days of the week will be reported separately, and the findings and events will be analyzed at the end of each week. Based on the weekly themes and assignments I will be adding theoretical sources and framework to support the weekly analysis. As the content and assignments vary from each week, the theoretical framework is diverse, such as fire safety and working ergonomics. The completed thesis has provided me with more knowledge about safety and security regarding an office-related job, while also I have become more confident in the respected area.
