This thesis was carried out in order to find out the level of development of the application of BIM technologies in the German construction industry. At the moment, BIM technologies are innovative and rapidly developing information technologies. Most construction companies and design organizations use these technologies for various purposes.
The purpose of the dissertation is to determine the level of development and use of BIMtechnologies in Germany in various fields. The areas under consideration are: modeling of infrastructure, structures, houses, cities.
When writing the work, information obtained from current standards, scientific publications, materials of reports of specialists was used.
An analysis of the data results shows that Germany is one of the leaders in the implementation of BIM technologies in the construction industry and the vast majority of design organizations are proficient in working with BIM and actively use this technology in design.
