Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuottaa videomuotoinen ohjeistus HUS:in endoskopiapoliklinikalle paksusuolen tähystykseen valmistautumista varten. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää paksusuolen tähystys toimenpiteiden onnistuneisuutta hyvän valmistautumisen turvin. Onnistunut toimenpide on positiivinen kokemus potilaalle sekä samalla säästää henkilökunnan voimavaroja.
Opinnäytetyössä perehdyttiin syvällisesti erilaisiin tähystyksiin kuten gastroskopiaan ja erityisesti kolonoskopiaan. Tietoa kerättiin suoliston sairauksista, suolen tyhjennyksestä ja toimenpiteestä. Opinnäytetyö pitää sisällään potilaan hoitopolun valmistautumisesta aina jatkohoitoon asti. Lopussa käytiin läpi myös potilasohjauksen tärkeyttä ja sen edellytyksiä sekä kehityskohtia.
Kerätyn tietoperustan pohjalta tehtiin audiovisuaalinen esitys PowerPointiin HUS:in hoitohenkilöstölle. Esityksen jäljiltä kerättiin palautetta Webropol palautekyselyllä sekä pohdittiin työn onnistuneisuutta ja kehityskohtia. This thesis is the base of information developed into a PowerPoint which was made as a guidance for endoscopy policlinic of HUS regarding preparing for colonoscopy. The purpose of this thesis is to improve the success rate in colonoscopy through good preparations. A succeeded colonoscopy is a positive experience for the patient and saves the hospital personnel’s strengths.
In this thesis information has been thoroughly researched about endoscopies such as gastroscopy and especially colonoscopy. Information was searched also about bowel diseases, emptying bowel and procedure of colonoscopy. This thesis has knowledge of a patient’s care path from preparations all the way to aftercare. Patient guidance, its requirements and developing points have been explored and explained here.
Based on the material gathered, a presentation on PowerPoint has been made for the nursing personnel. After the presentation feedback has been gathered through Webropol and pondered the success and improvement points of this work.
