Vegetarians in present day are not only confined to a trend, but also a solution for health, overweight or dietary which are not limited to any religion or individual. In affluent countries, vegetarianism is gradually becoming a newfangled cuisine, particularly among young generation, artists, and intellectuals. Finland is a great example in displaying the mentioned trend as vegan restaurants are not only found in big cities such as Helsinki, Turku or Tampere but also in rural areas in the country.
As a study abroad student in Finland, this thesis is taking the chance to perform the research and analysis in the vegetarian market of Finnish via survey releasing, article information collecting and observations to students from LAB University of Applied Sciences. The thesis consisted of a quantitative method that included 52 random responders from LAB University of Applied Sciences then it concludes according to these findings.
