The purpose of this paper is to conduct research on the application of digital marketing for business development in a restaurant in order to discover the digital marketing tools used by the restaurant and their impact on the restaurant's development. Magokoro Oy, the case company chosen for this study, was the focal point.
The theoretical background of the thesis is derived from a variety of relevant books, articles, academic reports, research papers, and scientific publications, in addition to reputable web sites.
For the purpose of analyzing the results of the research questions, the methodology selected for this study is qualitative research using qualitative method interviews with the case company's owners.
In addition, based on the data provided by the owners of Magokoro and their responses to designed questions in the interview, the author was able to summarize the effect of applying digital marketing on the growth of a restaurant.
