Tiivistelmä
The purpose of the study was to find out the correlation between entrepreneurship competencies, mindfulness competencies and self-leadership. The study attempted to answer the question “Can the entrepreneurship competencies of a student be enhanced through self-leadership & mindfulness training”. The study was based on the idea that mindfulness and self-leadership training may aid in developing entrepreneurial characteristics. In connection, SLEM Academy is an Erasmus+ initiative that fosters entrepreneurial skills in high school and university students via cooperation with high schools and universities in Albania, Croatia, Finland, and Liechtenstein. It teaches students how to set and accomplish healthy goals in a focused and adaptive way and learn from their experiences. This research study is a part of the SLEM Academy.

The theoretical part of this research thesis covers the following areas to answer the research question: entrepreneurship, self-leadership, and mindfulness competencies. Furthermore, information was gathered from literature related to the field of study as well as the author’s own experience. As for the empirical method utilized in the study, a questionnaire was sent to the SLEM Academy participants to gather the data to carry out a quantitative analysis.

Due to certain limitations, the research study qualitatively concluded that the majority of the research participants’ entrepreneurship competencies are positively influenced by self-leadership and mindfulness competencies.
