As the world of leadership is changing, the traditional leadership approaches have become less efficient and ineffective. As a result, there are more challenges appearing and current workforce with upcoming generations demand the change. The main aim of the study is to investigate the impacts of leadership, their connection to performance, leading teams, teams’ creation, and unlocking human potential. The purpose of the study was to provide the readers with a guide, on how to face, solve these challenges and create the change.
The theoretical chapter of the study will describe how to understand what the challenges of traditional leadership are, especially towards the young generations. The chapter provides a comparison with modern effective leadership, how to develop a high-performing culture, and identify the indicators of high-performing teams. Simultaneously, the study introduces the sets of different strategies of the essentials of modern effective leadership, and examples of how to apply them. Lastly, these parts will describe the importance of unlocking human potential, how to support it, and what the talents and strengths truly are.
The empirical chapter will investigate and focus on different views, opinions, and suggestions regarding the study topic from the leadership experts’ perspectives. The data collection for this part was created by executing the semi-structured interviews and interviewing the leadership professionals performing worldwide.
According to the study results, the change in leadership styles is necessary. The future business development is strongly connected to new, modern, and effective approaches. These approaches support self-development of individuals and unlocking their full potential. Suggestions towards future studies based on investigating new techniques, tools, and findings linked to executive presence are given at the end of the study.
