The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the decision to use an e-wallet and the relationships between these factors. The theoretical model for the study is based on a prior developed model in 2003, which will be later described in the writing.
The sample of 282 respondents with knowledge and experience using electronic wallets in Vietnam was gathered and analysed by SPSS 29.0. There are six factors that influence Vietnamese customers’ intention to use e-wallets positively, according to the results of regression model analysis. These factors are described further in the research including their correlation towards analysis result.
Besides, the research suggested some governance implications to increase the likelihood that Vietnamese consumers would use e-wallets. That would contribute to the future growth of the Vietnamese e-commerce market.
