Muistisairauden hoidon moninaisuus : opas muistisairaiden omaisille Salpausselän kuntoutussairaala Jalmariin

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli suunnitella ja tuottaa opas muistisairaiden omaisille Salpausselän kuntoutussairaala Jalmarin osastoille J32 ja J20. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tukea ja vahvistaa yhteistyötä moniammatillisen tiimin, potilaan ja omaisen välillä lisäämällä omaisten tietoisuutta osastolla toteutettavasta hoitotyöstä sekä muistisairauden tuomista muutoksista. Päämääränä oli tuottaa helppolukuinen, selkeä ja tietorikas opas omaisten tueksi.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toiminnallisena opinnäytetyönä ja tietoperusta kerättiin luotettavista tutkimus- ja asiantuntijalähteistä.

Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi kirjallinen opas, johon on koottu tietoa muistisairaan hoidosta ja muistisairauden oireista. Oppaassa asiat on esitetty kompaktisti ja ymmärrettävästi.

The objective of the thesis was to design and produce a guide for Jalmari Salpausselkä Rehabilitation Hospital’s units J32 and J20 for the relatives of people with a memory disorder. The written guide is intended for the people close to the patients with a memory disorder. The goal of the thesis was to support and reinforce the cooperation amongst the multi-professional team, the patient, and the relatives by raising awareness of the relatives of the care at the unit and of the changes that a memory disorder brings. The aim was to create an easy to read, unambiguous and informative guide to support the relatives.

The thesis was implemented as a functional thesis and the database was gathered from trustworthy sources.

A written guide was produced as a result of the thesis. The guide contains information about the treatment of people with memory disorder and the symptoms of memory disorders. The content of the guide is presented comprehensibly and compactly.
