Tiivistelmä
The topic of leadership's impact on remote work became increasingly important as remote work be-came more prevalent in the digital age. The aim of this thesis was to understand the perspectives of leaders and remote employees on leadership styles and their impact on remote work culture.
The thesis was conducted with a quantitative research method, and data were collected through an online survey distributed to employees from a specific company with experience working remotely. A total of 60 responses were received, representing 75% of the 80 questionnaires sent.
The survey covered various questions related to leadership styles, communication, feedback, and strategies for promoting a positive and productive remote work culture. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The findings of this study offered valuable information for companies and leaders who wanted to enhance a positive and effective remote work culture.
The results highlighted the importance of transformational leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication abilities in remote work situations. The study concluded that in order to manage re-mote teams effectively and adapt to the evolving nature of work, organizations had to provide support and training to their leaders. Additionally, the findings suggested that incorporating flexible work ar-rangements and leveraging technology could enhance remote work culture and positively impact em-ployee satisfaction and productivity.
