With the rapid development of social economy, human society has become increasingly dependent on energy. Petroleum occupies the most important position in energy, so the pollution of petrochemical industry to the environment has become serious.
In this thesis work, the environmental pollution caused by petrochemical industry is classified and described, and the treatment methods of various environmental pollution are studied and summarized. In addition, the advantages, disadvantages and scope of application of each method are studied. The purpose of this thesis work is to provide help to practitioners in the same industry in petrochemical pollution control.
This thesis introduces petrochemical pollution from four aspects: petrochemical wastewater pollution, petrochemical waste gas pollution, petrochemical solid waste pollution, and oil leakage pollution. A variety of solutions are proposed for each type of pollution. The treatment of petrochemical wastewater is the focus of this thesis report. It summarizes 38 treatment methods, covering all possible pollution problems in the petrochemical industry. The advantages, disadvantages and scope of application of each governance method are studied and explained.
