This thesis was written to address the needs of Ukrainian refugees and asylum seekers seeking help and support in their new countries.
Although there are many resources available to them, it can be difficult for them to access them due to language barriers, lack of knowledge about available services, and the complexity of the legal and social systems in their new countries.
The goal of this thesis is to create a web-based platform that simplifies the process of finding and receiving services for refugees and asylum seekers. By providing a user-friendly interface, up-to-date information in multiple languages, and simplified navigation, the platform aims to bridge the gap between refugees and the services they need. Also, the platform includes a mathematical built-in survey to suggest the best country for the user to move to, based on their responses to a set of questions.
This thesis is based on practice, i.e., the actual application and development of a functioning platform. It combines theoretical foundations from user interface design, database management, and cloud infrastructure with practical knowledge and experience gained in the development process.
Ultimately, the goal of this thesis is to contribute to ongoing efforts to support and empower refugees and asylum seekers in their new communities. By creating a platform that will make it easier for them to find the help and resources they need, there is a hope to have a positive impact on their lives and facilitate their integration into their new countries.
