Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli löytää Seikkailuyhtiö Vaaralle uusia palveluita ja aktiviteetteja. Työ on tehty toimeksiantona yritykselle Seikkailuyhtiö Vaara Oy. Työn tarkoituksena oli uudistaa Seikkailuyhtiö Vaaran talven aktiviteettitarjontaa.
Opinnäytetyössä selvitettiin aktiviteettitarjontaa Kolilla, muualla Suomessa ja maailmalla. Tarkoituksena oli tuoda Kolille uutta aktiviteettitarjontaa. Apuna käytettiin Metsähallituksen luomia retkeilijäprofiileja sekä kilpailija-analyysiä, jossa kartoitettiin Kolin tarjontaa. Tietoperustana työssä perehdyttiin sesonkimatkailuun ja liiketoimintasuunnitelmaan.
Työn tuloksena ovat uudet aktiviteetit sekä niiden pohjalta luodut tuotekortit
Seikkailuyhtiö Vaaralle. Aktiviteetit on luotu Metsähallituksen retkeilijäprofiileille. Näitä retkeilijäprofiileja ovat eräilijä, tavoittelija, oleskelija, intoilija ja nautiskelija. Seikkailuyhtiö Vaaralla on käyttöoikeus opinnäytetyön tuloksiin, ja he voivat jatkokehittää ideoita itselleen sopiviksi. The purpose of this thesis was to generate ideas of new services and activities for the off-season for the company Seikkailuyhtiö Vaara, which was also the commissioner of this thesis. The purpose of the thesis was to make the winter season easier for the company Seikkailuyhtiö Vaara.
This thesis was made by researching existing activities in Koli, elsewhere in Finland as well as abroad. The purpose was to bring new activities to Seikkailuyhtiö Vaara and to Koli. As an aid for this task the explorer profiles by Metsähallitus was used. The thesis also includes a competitor analysis of what other companies have to offer in Koli.Theories of seasonal travelling and business planning were used for the theoretical framework of the thesis.
The results of the thesis were the introduction of new activities and brand images made for the activities. The activities were customized specifically for the profiles by Metsähallitus. These profiles are nature explorer, goal-oriented exerciser, relaxation seeker, enthusiast and entertainment seeker. Seikkailuyhtiö Vaara has a parallel licence to the activities which ensures they can further develop the results as their own.
