Kongsberg Maritime Finland Oy – Vesille till havs fair 2023, employee branding : Employee branding and how to prepare for the fair

Abstract

The purpose of this functional thesis is to plan how to present Kongsberg Maritime Finland Oy's operations to the visitors of the Vesille till Havs- trade fair. The fair will be held, in Kokkola on May 27-28, 2023. The company decided to participate in the fair because it wanted to make the company's name better known among visitors, especially potential future employees, and students. The subject was topical and work life oriented. In general, the idea has been to raise awareness of the company in the Kokkola region. The goal was to increase the awareness of the people in the area about the company's versatile job offering and, at the same time, attract applicants to open positions. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses the company in general, its history, present and future, as well as fairs and preparations for fairs. Literature and interviews have been used as sources. The report section describes planning, implementation, and evaluation of the fair from early planning to execution.
