Role of communication for industrial effectivity : Case study of Kokkikartano Oy

Abstract

This thesis is about the role of communication in organizational effectiveness. Effective communication can be a crucial factor in determining organizational effectiveness. Timely information helps team members with better planning and preparedness. Effective communication ensures cohesiveness and preparedness. Communication with an organization is as important as blood to a human body. The study aimed to explore ways to improve communication practices within organizations for increasing the productivity of the industry. The objective of the study was to analyze current communication practices at Kokkikartano Oy, identify communication-related issues, and suggest solutions to enhance effective communication. Research was carried out on respondents working in Kokkikartano with the help of a questionnaire using Google Forms to find out answers regarding communications practices, challenges, and solutions on improving communication effectiveness in Kokkikartano Oy. The findings are presented in the form of a pie-chart. The study focuses on the internal communication within Kokkikartano Oy and excludes external factors affecting the organization. The idea of communications and industrial effectiveness is explained in a concise way. The study aims to contribute to the understanding of the critical role of communication in increasing industrial effectivity, with the hope of providing valuable insights for organizations to improve their communication practices and overall productivity.
