Tiivistelmä
The objective of this thesis was to create a marketing plan for the Finnish Wushu Kungfu Association. The case association is a non-profit organization, which was founded in 1997 for the purpose of promoting and teaching Wushu. The association wishes to increase the numbers of its members and its visibility in Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

The theory part of the thesis was focused on voluntary sector also knows as non-profit sector, marketing of non-profit organization, marketing communication and advertising. A qualitative research was chosen for this thesis and the research data was collected through interviews.

The goal of the research was to make a plan that would help Finnish Wushu Kungfu Association to find the right marketing channels to reach the target audience in Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Also the goal was to bring out the ideas of the association's members to develop activities and services of the association.

The marketing plan is implemented based on the results of the interviews. Many important suggestions and ideas about changing and developing the associations marketing and services were found from the results. The association can get more new members by focusing on developing its operation and increasing its marketing actively, as well as studying the target audience and to implement the measures by using the latest technology, also by hearing wishes and ideas of its members. The marketing plan is limited and designed for small non-profit organization with a small financial budget.
