Cameroon is a very famous country as far as agriculture is concerned in Africa. Cocoa and coffee are among the primary agricultural products that are exported in large quantities from Cameroon to the world market. The aim of this research was to design a fleet management system that will be able to manage the transportation of the company's products. This Web database application was able to provide foreign partners with daily updates of the company activities through the company's website. It enabled registered workers of the company to access the login system irrespective of their location using their computers and smart phones through the Internet and perform certain reserved functions such as store their daily trips records, register any newly bought vehicle information in the company's database before the goods are transported to the sea port for export to the world market.
This fleet management system was also able to provide distant supervision by the company's supervisors by accessing the login system using their user name and password. It provided an efficient and reliable distance monitoring of the daily activities of the company's irrespective of employees location.
