Kohti ennaltaehkäisevää perhetyötä. : varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyön kehittäminen Ylöjärvellä.

Abstract

Tämän tutkimuksellisen kehittämishankkeen tavoitteena oli luoda Ylöjärvelle ennaltaehkäisevän varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyön malli. Kehittämishankkeen tarkoi tusena oli kehittää varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyötä entistä ennaltaehkäisevämpään suuntaan, ja selkiyttää perhetyön tehtävää, toimintamallia ja tavoitetta.

Kehittämishanke toteutettiin toimintatutkimuksen avulla. Osaamista ja yhteistyötä haluttiin vahvistaa varhaiskasvatuksen ja neuvolan henkilökunnan keskuudessa ennaltaehkäisevän otteen vahvistamiseksi. Aineisto kerättiin fokusryhmähaastatte luilla, jotka pidettiin varhaiskasvatuksen ja neuvolan työntekijöille syksyllä 2013. Haastatteluilla kerättiin tietoa liittyen työntekijöiden näkemyksistä omasta amma tillisuudesta, varhaisesta puuttumisesta ja -tukemisesta, huolen puheeksiotosta sekä yhteistyöstä varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyöhön. Kehittämishankkeen tueksi ja tavoitteen saavuttamiseksi hankkeeseen perustettiin moniammatillinen työryhmä. Fokusryhmähaastatteluista nostamieni tulosten pohjalta hankkeeseen liittyvässä työryhmässä kokosimme ennaltaehkäisevän perhetyön mallia ja nostimme esiin toimenpide-ehdotuksia, joiden avulla ennaltaehkäisevä ote perheiden tukemiseksi varhaiskasvatuksessa ja neuvolassa vahvistuisi.

Kehittämistyön tuloksena syntyi ennaltaehkäisevän varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyön malli. Malli kuvaa, missä vaiheessa varhaiskasvatuksessa tai neuvolassa voidaan tarjota perheelle varhaiskasvatuksen perhetyöntekijän tukea, ja miten toimitaan, kun todetaan, että perhe voisi hyötyä perhetyöntekijän tuesta. Toimenpide- ehdotuksiksi muodostuivat vanhemmuutta vahvistavat vanhempainillat, koulutus huolen puheeksioton vahvistamiseksi, varhaiskasvatuksen ja neuvolan yhteistyön tiivistäminen ja palveluverkoston kokoaminen.

The aim of this research-based development project was to create preventive early childhood family work model to Ylöjärvi. The purpose of the development project was to improve the early childhood family work to be more preventive and to clarify the function, approach and objective of family work.

The development project was carried out using action research. The aim was to strengthen the know-how and co-operation among the early childhood educators and maternity clinic health cares to improve preventive way of work. The material was gathered in focus group interviews, that was carried out to early childhood education workers and maternity clinic workers in August 2013. With the inter views it was raised information about how the workers see their own professional ism, early intervention and early support, broach the concern and co-operation with early childhood education family work. A multi-professional team was founded to support the development project and to achieve the aim of the project. In The Multi-professional team we gathered together preventive model of early childhood family work by the results that I had brought out from the focus group interviews. We also come up with the action proposals that would strengthen the preventive way of working on support the families in early childhood education and in maternity clinic.

The result of the development work was to form preventive model of early child hood family work. The model describes when in early childhood education and in maternity clinic the support of early childhood education family worker can be offered. The model also describes how the process proceeds when it is noted that family could benefit of the help of family worker. The action proposal formed parents' evenings that strengthens parenthood, training to strengthen the broach of concern, to develop the co-operation between early childhood education and ma ternity clinic and gather together the services for families.
