Tiivistelmä
The aim of the thesis is to introduce managing different cultures in the same enterprise, and show how it applies in Finnish enterprises. By quoting the classical models to guide case study research in order to draw useful conclusions. The goal is to help the managers to do cross cultural management in Finland, especially in Kokkola.
The research was carried out in three Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kokkola, three mangers and all foreign employees have participated. Both interviews and questionnaires are used in the research, showing and analyzing by the tool of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Four employers' requirements were found for foreign employees, and state a thorough understanding of employed foreign employees in Kokkola during the research. Compare with Hofstede's theory, Finnish cross cultural management has its own features.
