This research is an application of knowledge of chemistry and environment protection. Different experimental skills and methods were used in water analysis. Various varieties of apparatus were used during the experimental part. The water samples were collected from the river Sunti (Sundet) in the city of Kokkola.
The data of ionic concentrations were collected after the laboratory work. Another method of the experiment was comparison. The comparison targets were water quality standards in special countries and areas, for example US.
The results from the data were analyzed. The ionic concentrations were the evidences of the influence towards aquatic animals. Finally, the conclusion of the research was received.
