he aim of this thesis was to explain how to develop object-oriented programs where unified modeling language was in use, and it can be study material and a complete example for course modeling techniques.
It is vital to understand every process of software development before a project starts, and the concept of every component of software development must be understood. Usually step analysis and design are ignored by software developers. The matter of fact is that satisfying products can only be accepted by customers when all the steps in software engineering are totally executed. This thesis systematically introduces the importance of every step in software engineering and explains how to model and make an application with the detailed combined knowledge of software engineering, modeling technique and Java language. These three courses are given on the second and third study year respectively.
A personal address book application was implemented in Java language. It visibly explains the object-oriented software development. Overall, result of this project could also be a real example of a software project where an object-oriented application is modeled and implemented.
