The study used qualitative method and featured interviews with experienced managers in the video game industry. These interviews provided a range of perspectives on this topic. Important findings from the research included the necessity for achieving a balance between creative freedom and pragmatic development constraints, the critical role of user feedback in influencing game design, the significance of teamwork, and the need to stay informed of market trends.
The results showed the need for a multifaced approach to game production that balances creativity with real-world constraints, incorporates user feedback, manages collaboration among teams, and keeps up with industry developments. These observations provided a contribution to the understanding of the difficulties and tactics involved in creating video games that are both visually appealing and profitable. The study highlights the need for a methodical yet flexible approach to game production, which is essential for coordinating artistic goals with player expectations and commercial realities.
