Since entering the age of web 2.0, Internet has been developing significantly. The SNS website is an important product of the web2.0 era, its emergence is the most popular topic on internet. SNS stand for Social Network Software, it is an internet application service which is specifically designed to help people build social network.
In recent years, local SNS websites are also developing rapidly in China. And the two most popular SNS websites are Kaixin website and Renren website. For most website, there is not an effective business model. The main methods of this thesis were case study and qualitative research. The case study was about Renren website, which is a most popular SNS website in China. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to provide some advice and solutions for the business model of Chinese SNS website through analyze the current business model of Renren website.
