Nurses and nursing students should be skilled at collecting urine samples. Testing is significantly used in medicine to assist healthcare professionals in managing patients, establishing, or excluding diagnosis and implementing the best care plan. This thesis is a useful one since it produces results that will help nursing students.
This thesis purpose is to create an instructional guided resource for nursing students on the proper technique for taking urine samples from patients in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. The goal of this project was for nursing students to learn how to collect urine samples in a safe, appropriate, and aseptic technic by using the project's final product. A student should be acquainted with the process of collecting samples in a safe and suitable way after utilizing the project's result, according to the project's goal. The project teaches the writers how to develop engaging teaching resources, enhance their understanding of the subject, and develop suitable project techniques.
PowerPoint is the format of the product, and it includes images for illustrative purposes. The step-by-step process of collecting a sample from individuals who are bedridden is described in the PowerPoint. Corrections made in response to feedback gathered were applied to the product to enhance its quality.
This project employed the agile project methodology, which enabled the ongoing author and subscriber cooperation that was required for it. This made it possible for the writers to get distinct and regular input on the product to ensure a high standard. The project planning phase, the execution phase, and the assessment phase made up the project's three stages.
The thesis's theoretical background utilizes dependable sources and Finnish recommendations.
