Employee Motivation and Satisfaction is one of the important aspects in an organization and it is very important for an organization to take measures to improve employee's motivation and satisfaction in an organization to enhance productivity and commitment from employees. The case study company was Keski-Pohjanmaan Kirjapaino Oyj which specializes in printing of newspaper and electronic media. The company has business currently in Finland and Estonia.
A thorough perusal of literature reviews on the concept of motivation and satisfaction was carried out. Key concepts such as job design, motivation, and employee empowern were also reviewed extensively. A follow up was also made in practice by administering questionnaires to the employees at Keski-Pohjanmaan Kirjapaino Oyj. An interview was also held to reveal in-depth information on the topic of discourse.
The results emanating from the research showed that the employees of Keski-Pohjanmaan Kirjapaino Oyj are satisfied with the level of motivation the company offers them, there are some other areas the company needs to improve upon.
