Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa hoitotyön koulutukseen digitaalisen lääkeautomaatin käytön opas. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on lisätä hoitotyön opiskelijoiden tietoa digitaalisen lääkeautomaatin käyttöön liittyen. Opasta voidaan hyödyntää myös kotihoidossa uusien työntekijöiden perehdytyksessä. Opiskelijat saavat oppaan itselleen käyttöön. Oppaan materiaali tuotettiin LAB-ammattikorkeakoulun esiin nousseen tarpeeseen.
Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toiminnallisena opinnäytetyönä, joka koostui opinnäytetyö raportista ja oppaasta. Raportissa eli teoriaosuudessa käsitellään kotihoitoa, ikäteknologiaa, lääkeautomaatteja ja turvallista lääkehoitoa. Lisäksi teoriaosuudessa käsitellään sairaanhoitajan roolia turvallisen lääkehoidon ohjaamisessa ikääntyneille.
Oppaan materiaalia tehdessä käytimme tukena erilasia lähteitä ja katsoimme esimerkkejä edeltävistä opinnäytetyöstä. Oppaan materiaalin hyödyllisyyttä arvioimme erillisellä kyselylomakkeella sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoille. Kyselyn perusteella opiskelijat arvioivat oppaan materiaalin hyödylliseksi uusille sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoille. Toiminnallisessa osuudessa opinnäytetyössä kehitetään lääkeautomaatin käyttöopas hoitotyön opiskelijoiden tietoa digitaalisen lääkeautomaatin käytöstä. Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi materiaali oppaaseen, joka antaa uusille sairaanhoidon opiskelijoille tietoa Evondos-lääkeautomaatin käytöstä. The purpose of this thesis was to produce a digital medicine dispenser guide for nursing education. The aim of this thesis was to develop nursing students’ knowledge of using the digital medicine dispenser. The guide can also be used in home care for the orientation of new employees. Students get the guide to use. The guide's material was produced to meet the needs of LAB University of Applied Sciences.
The thesis was implemented as a functional thesis, which consisted of a thesis report and a guide. In the report the theoretical part, treatment of home care, age technology, medication dispensers and safe medication. In addition, in the theoretical part, the role of a nurse in guiding safe drug treatment for the elderly appears.
The result of the thesis was the material for a guide that provides new nursing students with information about learning about the Evondos medication dispenser. When creating the material for the guide, various sources were used as support and examples from previous theses were looked at. The questionability of the guide's material was assessed using a separate form for nursing students. Based on the survey, the students rated the guide's material as useful for new nursing students.
