The purpose and aim of the thesis is to give entrepreneurs who want to open a tea shop in Finland a detailed reference.
This thesis introduces the tea habits of Finns, using experiential marketing strategy to open tea shops, how to register a company and rental stall and a shop in Finland. The thesis does not only give a step by step guide, but also analyses the tea market in Finland and how to manage it. There is a complete business plan provided as a reference in the end of the thesis.
A quantity research of firstly data sources were mostly used, but a qualitative research with interviews was also carried out. Questionnaires are filled by 100 Finns in Helsinki and Kokkola. The theoretical knowledge in practice is used and relevant organizations were consulted.
The result of the thesis was a challenging project. The right choice of tea types is very important, Finns prefer strong tasting and attractive aroma, constant innovation and a good shopping experience is the key to operating tea shops.
