This research focused on human resource management practices of compensation in supervisor, training and employee relations, and it explored the connections between these factors as well as employee motivation and work efficiency. This thesis aims to provide information about employee motivation and work efficiency and thus to help resolve th two problems in small Chinese lubricant enterprises.
Data was collected from 120 respondents in small lubricant enterprises in Fushun, China. Statistical software SPSS was applied to analyze the data. The overall results obtained from the study indicated that employees show stronger motivation and work efficiency as the level of human resource management practices increase. The research also showed employers of small lubricant enterprises in Fushun should pay more attention to their HRM practices and on issues related to compensation, supervision, training and employee relations. These factors will help them keep on being competitive in oil industry.
