Patient comfort, safety, and general well-being are essential since they improve good blood circulation and ease patient discomfort. It is one method for preserving health and reducing the spread of bacterial infections and illnesses. Nurses play an essential function in providing patients with hygiene regularly. Yet, the daily care of patients in hospital settings is a challenge that receives little attention.
This project aimed to create an educational video for nursing students at SAMK focusing on hygiene. The objective thesis is to increase nursing students´ knowledge of vital care and teach them how to assist patients in bathing and dressing.
The educational video was created using PowerPoint presentations to improve teaching and learning sessions in nursing practice.
The hybrid methodology combines two methods into one, with a structured plan, and allows flexibility for excellent project management. The final product of the thesis met the study requirements of SAMK. SAMK is the partner of this project with a suitable theoretical framework supported by reliable information.
