This thesis examines the evolving landscape of graphic design in the AI era, with a particular focus on the skills that graphic designers in the AI era will require.
The key subjects addressed include the integration and proficiency of AI tools, ethical and legal considerations in AI-enhanced design, potential pitfalls and issues of overreliance on AI, and skills that complement the use of AI, such as critical thinking, creativity, and continuous learning.
The research presented in this thesis offers insights into the aforementioned topics, providing guidance and a starting point for designers with a basic understanding of AI. The Handy Dandy Guidebook on AI, which accompanies this report, serves as a practical guide to AI.
