Microsoft Power Platform hallintamalli

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tehdä suunnitelma Microsoft Power Platformin hallintamallille. Toimeksiantaja on julkinen organisaatio, jossa on osittain otettu käyttöön Microsoft 365 palvelut. Microsoft Power Platform on osa organisaation Microsoft 365 tuotepakettia, joten sen hyödyntäminen tulevaisuudessa on osa organisaation digitalisaatiota. Hankkeen tarkoituksena oli tutkia mitkä asiat hallintamallissa tulee olla ja mitä sen laadinnassa tulee huomioida. Microsoft 365 perustuu pilviteknologiaan, jolloin tiedot tallentuvat palveluntarjoajan palvelimille. Julkiselle organisaatiolle, jonka hallussa on salassa pidettävää tietoa, on tärkeää huolehtia tietoturvasta ja -suojasta. Tässä tutkimushankkeessa oli konstruktiivinen tutkimusote, joka nojasi laadullisen tutkimuksen metodeihin. Tietopohjan perustaksi haettiin ymmärrys Microsoft Power Platformista. Suunnitelman laatimiseksi tarvittiin lisäksi tietoa pilvipalveluista, tietoturvasta ja -suojasta sekä muutoksen hallinnasta. Teoreettinen pohja kehittämishankkeelle syntyi edellä mainituista teemoista. Hallintamallin suunnittelu on osa varautumista käyttöönottoon. Hallintamallin suunnittelun ja siihen liittyvän tutkimustyön perusteella on saatu käsitys tulevaan hallintamalliin tarvittavista organisaation tiedoista ja tarvittavista tehtävistä. Tietojen vertailu ja analysointi oli suunnittelutyössä tärkeässä osassa. Suunnitelmaa työstettiin reflektoiden säännöllisesti toimeksiantajan kanssa. Hallintamallin laadinta on aloitettu organisaatiossa suunnitelmaan pohjautuen.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a plan for the Microsoft Power Platforms governance model. The client is a public organisation which has partially deployed the Microsoft 365 services. Microsoft Power Platform is included in the organisation’s Microsoft 365 subscription. Utilization of the service in the future is a part of the organisation’s digitalization. The goal of this project is to explore what needs to be included in the governance model and what needs to be accounted for in creating it. Microsoft 365 is a cloud service in which information is stored on the service providers serves. It is highly important to take care of information security and data protection for a public organisation which deals with confidential information. In this development project a constructive scientific method which incorporated qualitative research methods was in use. The foundation of the knowledge base started from understanding Microsoft Power Platform. Additionally, to create the plan, knowledge of cloud services, information security, data protection and change management was needed. The theoretical basis for the development project was created from the aforementioned themes. Planning the governance model before introduction is meant as preparation for the deployment. From the planning and researching of the governance model a understanding of the needed organizational information and needed tasks. The analysis and comparison of information has been great importance in the planning process. The plan has been created with regular reflections from the client. The work on the governance model in the organisation has been started based on the plan.
