This thesis explores the international expansion strategies of Finnish IT companies Siili Solutions and Gofore, set against a backdrop of rapid global technological advances and globalization. It delves into how these companies leverage their distinct competencies to compete on the international stage, contributing to the discourse on effective market expansion strategies for firms from small, technologically advanced economies. This thesis aims to identify and analyze the key drivers and strategic approaches that have underpinned the successful internationalization of these companies.
The thesis employs a qualitative methodology, focusing on document analysis and thematic analysis to extract meaningful insights from comprehensive data sources, including corporate publications and third-party research reports.
