The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of transformational leadership and its connection to supervisor-member exchange and innovative behavior within a setting of organizations. A sample of employees is selected and their data is then analyzed through regression analysis.
The consequence focuses on the direct effect of transformational leadership on innovative behavior in such words that leaders who engage in transformational behaviors contribute to the advancement of employees’ innovative behavior. Alongside this, supervisor-member exchange acts as a moderator between transformational leadership and innovative behavior. The quality of supervisors and employee interactions, thus, is also an important feature in this type of behavior.
Thus, it can be concluded that it is the main principle of transformational leadership that contributes to the success of a healthy and positive culture that stimulates inventive thinking and actions. High levels of innovative behavior from employees results in enhanced performance and adaptability at a time when competition is extensive. This research provides novel insights into the field using empirical data and demonstrates the mediating effect of supervisor-member exchange in the connection of the two factors. The evidence presents practical solutions for companies dealing with innovative processes and leadership organizations.
